  • Overview:

    Loan Funders are responsible for the verification of all aspects of contract packages received by ACC from its network of approved dealers.  Communication skills are essential as this role is the point of contact between ACC and its dealers regarding the funding status of specific contracts.  Building and maintaining relationships with external dealership personnel and internal sales/credit team members is the key to success in this role.

    Our team environment provides room for growth as you will interact with all parts of the company, including senior management, underwriting, funding, insurance, vendor management, asset recovery and vendors.

    Responsibilities:

    • Audit contract packages for completeness and accuracy
    • Verify employment status, income, insurance, residence and all other approval stipulations
    • Verify conformance with all relevant underwriting ratios and guidelines
    • Communicate effectively to internal and external personnel regarding status of contracts in process
    • Escalate any exception to policy to senior management
    • Communicate final funding approval to Treasury for release of funds
    • Build and maintain relationships with external dealership personnel

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, 6-12 months related experience
    • Excellent communication skills
    • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
    • Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, multi-task and work both independently and in a team environment
    • Experience with web-based loan management system a plus
    • Prior experience in consumer finance or auto finance industry a plus

  • Overview:

    Loan underwriters are responsible for evaluating potential consumer Retail Installment Contracts that are presented to ACC for purchase from our network of automotive dealers.

    Our team environment provides room for growth as you will interact with all parts of the company, including senior management, underwriting, funding, insurance, vendor management, asset recovery and vendors.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reviews, analyzes and underwrites Auto applications that are submitted to ACC from its network of authorized dealers
    • Assures adherence to company guidelines such as consumer credit status, income ratios and loan-to-value ratios
    • Conforms to all applicable regulations in the decision-making process such as fair lending practices and the ECOA (Equal Credit Opportunity Act)
    • Communicates with the appropriate dealer regarding any shortfalls to ACC guidelines that a specific proposal may contain
    • Escalates to management any exceptions to policy that may be required to approve a contract proposal

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Prior auto underwriting/credit experience a must
    • Excellent analytical and communication skills
    • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
    • Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, multi-task and work both independently and in a team environment
    • Experience with web-based loan management system a plus
    • Prior experience in consumer finance or auto finance industry a plus

  • Overview:

    Loan Processors are responsible for the quality review and data entry of all loan contracts received.  Communication skills are essential as this role is the first point of contact between ACC and its dealers regarding the status of specific contracts.  Building and maintaining relationships with external dealership personnel and internal sales/credit team members is the key to success in this role.

    Our team environment provides room for growth as you will interact with all parts of the company, including senior management, underwriting, funding, insurance, vendor management, asset recovery and vendors.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform daily data entry for all contract packages
    • Perform quality control for documents and information related to finance contracts
    • Communicate effectively to internal and external personnel regarding status of contracts in process
    • Resolve any missing documentation and information required to release the contract package to the verification and funding departments

    Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, 6-12 months related experience
    • Excellent communication skills
    • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
    • Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, multi-task and work both independently and in a team environment
    • Experience with web-based loan management system a plus
    • Prior experience in consumer finance or auto finance industry a plus
